July 4/Tuesday - WARSAW
Upon arrival in Warsaw you will be met by your guide and transferred to the hotel in in the heart of the city. Time to relax and unpack. In the evening, a welcome dinner. |

July 5/Wednesday - WARSAW
This morning get acquainted with Poland's capital, rebuilt after almost total destruction in WWII. Start the tour at the reconstructed Old Town with the remnants of the defense walls, St. John's Cathedral and the Royal Castle Square. From here, drive via Royal Route to Lazienki Park with the famous monument of Chopin and the Lazienki Palace. Continue to Wilanow Palace, the splendid baroque summer residence of King Jan III Sobieski. Balance of the day at leisure. |

July 6/Thursday - WARSAW/Zelazowa Wola/TORUN
After breakfast depart for Zelazowa Wola where Chopin was born in 1810. After lunch continue to the Gothic city of Torun, where Polish astronomer Copernicus was born in 1473. Spend an evening in Torun and enjoy its medieval atmosphere. Be sure to taste the traditional gingerbread. |

July 7/Friday - TORUN/Chelmno/GDANSK
After breakfast, depart for the Baltic Coast. En route, stop in the charming town of Chelmno. You will stay overnight in Gdynia. |

July 8/Saturday - GDANSK
Start the day with a tour of the tri-cities, Gdynia, the youngest port; Gdansk, the birthplace of Solidarity; and the resort of Sopot. Drive to Oliwa to the Gothic Cathedral and listen to a short concert on the pipe organ, one-of-a-kind in Europe. The balance of the day is spent at your leisure. Enjoy this evening's dinner with entertainment by the Kaszuby ensemble. |

July 9/Sunday - GDANSK
A free day for your own activities. An optional excursion to Malbork Castle, the fascinating medieval fortress of the mighty Teutonic Knights in the 15th Century will be offered. You may also relax in a sidewalk cafe in Gdansk, shop in the boutiques filled with the best assortment of amber and silver souvenirs or sail to Westerplatte where the first shots of WWII were fired. |

July 10/Monday - GDANSK/Gniezno/POZNAN
This morning continue your journey to Poznan, capital of Poland from 968-1039. En route, stop in Gniezno, the cradle of the Poland with a 10th-century cathedral built by the first ruler of Poland, Mieszko I who accepted christianity. You will stay overnight in Poznan. |

July 11/Tuesday - POZNAN/WROCLAW
Before leaving Poznan, get acquainted with the main attractions which include the famous Renaissance Town Hall (UNESCO site) and the historic Poznan Cathedral with tombs of the first Polish kings of the Piast Dynasty. Depart for Wroclaw, Poland's fourth largest city on the Odra River with 116 bridges. |

July 12/Wednesday - WROCLAW
Start the day with a city tour of Wroclaw, its oldest part Ostrow Tumski (Cathedral Island), the famous University and Gothic Town Hall. The highlight of the day is viewing the "Panorama Raclawicka," a huge painting depicting the victorious battle of Kosciuszko over the Russian Imperial Army in Raclawice in 1794. Spend the afternoon at your leisure. |

July 13/Thursday - WROCLAW/Czestochowa/KRAKOW
This morning your coach departs for Krakow. En route, stop in Czestochowa, the pilgrimage center of Poland. Tour the Jasna Gora Monastery, the Treasury and the shrine of the Black Madonna with its miraculous icon. Spend overnight in Krakow in a hotel conveniently situated in the Old Town a few steps from the Market Square. |

July 14/Friday - KRAKOW
Today's sightseeing tour opens up the charms of this unique town, a treasure house of medieval art and architecture. Included is the Market Square dominated by St. Mary's Church with the famous altar, the Cloth Hall with a multitude of souvenir shops and the 600-year old University. In the afternoon, depart for the Wieliczka salt mines. Discover the fascinating underground wonders carved in rock salt. |

July 15/Saturday - KRAKOW/Zakopane
A whole day excursion to the popular vacation resort of Zakopane. Climb by a mountain rail to the peak of the Gubalowka Mountain for a magnificent view of the Tatra Range. After lunch in a typical cottage and time for shopping for local arts and crafts, return to Krakow. |

July 16/Sunday- KRAKOW
After breakfast, tour the imposing Wawel Castle, seat of Polish kings and the Coronation Cathedral, the final resting place of kings and famous Poles. Enjoy the balance of the day for last minute shopping or relaxing. Take an optional excursion to Oswiecim, former Auschwitz concentration camp, now a Martyrdom Museum. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with entertainment. |
